Her job at HP was to make money for the owners not cuddle workers.

The problem seems to be with our capitalistic system. She is playing by the rules.

Americans blindly take pride in being capitalist and it is ironic that few are actually capitalists. Not only are corporate executive being paid too much, but so are the workers. Why is an American worth more than an Indian or Korean , etc.?

In a country that makes a mockery of voting rights by voting only on name recognition, the voter deserve what they get.

She can’t run on jobs when she sent so many overseas.

That’s BS. American workers aren’t being paid too much. We should have trade agreements that pulls eveyone up instead of being a race to the bottom.

Voters deserve much better. The ruling class and their mind molders in the press have done a good job of creating the illusion of real choice and democracy.

She may have sent jobs overseas but this country’s government decided that that was okay. She sent jobs overseas to be competitive and increase profits, but then that is the business of the USA. She is far from being the only one to do that. And the American consumer is also at fault; they were not forced to buy cheap goods. I don’t see how she or anyone can run on jobs. The people who are voting complain about jobs but they are unwilling to pay USA prices.

I agree that the trade agreements need to be changed, but to what? We can’t afford to be arbitrary. We can’t support ourselves without exploiting foreign markets and if foreign markets decide to boycott us, we are in deep doodoo. We have too much debt. We want to do too many wars. Foreign countries can make do but we have never been without and too many of us are living from paycheck to paycheck. We can’t sacrifice; We are spoiled. We are paid too much. And what are we to do about the wealth disparity?

No, the voters do not deserve much better so long as they support the present system. The voters should get better but they need to get educated and face reality and do more that vote once a year. The need to look at this so-called democratic capitalistic system as what it is instead of a deity.
