i have no idea why the corporate media doenst want to cover 20 people standing outside with signs and like to ramble on for 2 minutes about nothing

    seems news worthy to me

  2. Majority of One says:

Justin, Dean - Thanks for the video.

Here’s a related story. A couple days ago George Clooney posted this spirited critique of the war on The Huffington Post blog.

Clooney’s article was widely reported yet so far has not been picked up by Cincinnati media - until now anyway.

Thanks for continuing to provide an outlet for voices ignored by the local mainstream media!

  3. Peace Monger says:

Even when it’s thousands of people the corporate media doesn’t cover the peace movement. Watch the lack of coverage and join the local protest.

It will be noteworthy to see what kind of coverage, if any, the corporate folks give this protest.

  5. fred says:

why should they cover it?  it will only be a handful of people.  why is that newsworthy?

  6. .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address) says:

I remember the Enquirer barely gave any coverage to the largest anti-war rally in U.S. history three years ago.  Perhaps two paragraphs on page 7.

    Fred:  Define “newsworthy.”

  8. anonymous says:

Join the Green Party at the
    Ohio Statewide Peace Rally
    Saturday, March 18th, 2006
Gather at the Gazebo at Goodale Park at 1pm
For the March to the Rally
    at the Ohio Statehouse
    End the Iraq War
    Rally 2 p.m.

  9. PM says:

Fred, have you seen the crap they cover. All kinds of BS. It’s relevant because W’s numbers are in the toilet, NSA spying is in the news, Bush was coming to town the next day and the anniversary of the war is coming fast.

  10. Peace Monger says:

There was a huge protest today at Burnett woods. Even the corporate media was there.
