What happened at the Sea Arrrgh?

About a week ago, I got an anonymous brown envelope sent to my home, inside of which was a flyer entitled “Join the Sea Arrrgh!” It got lost in a stack, and I just pulled it out—only to discover that I have missed the Cincinnati Sea Arrrgh.  (It was scheduled for this past Saturday.) And I’m betting a whole bunch of other people missed the Sea Arrrgh, too.  So what is it?  Why did it come to Cincinnati?  Should we have heard about it over the weekend?

Turns out The Sea Arrrgh has its own website, and it is affiliated with the global “anonymous” assault on the Church of Scientology.  Apparently, all across our blue planet, people organized this past weekend to protest Scientology.  So what happened downtown on 4th street?  Was there a big showing?  How did it go?

This video, from the Sea Arrrgh web site, indicates that the group really knows how to put on a show, with a knack for street drama:

If this kind of thing happened in Cincinnati, the local media should have sent some camera crews.  Guess The Beacon will have to make sure we’ve got cameras on hand for the next street theater protest outside the local Scientology HQ.
