Talk Show Host Bill Cunningham gives Cincinnati another “Black Eye”

Bill Cunningham gives Cincinnati another “Black Eye” with his reckless and irresponsible comments. Bill Cunningham repeatedly referred to Senator Barack Obama as Barack “Hussein” Obama at a rally for John McCain.

Bill Cunningham is a local Cincinnati talk show host. He is known for his daily over-the-top comments and racist statements.

“Bill Cunningham’s un-American and racist comments about Senator Barack Obama are a snap-shot of what African-Americans deal with in Hamilton County everyday,” said Christopher Smitherman, president of the Cincinnati NAACP.

Bill Cunningham’s comments about Senator Obama were at best disrespectful and at worst racist. Bill Cunningham has stated that he stands behind his comments, which is not surprising.

Senator John McCain should do a better job in his selection of personalities that introduce him in the future.
