I was recently contacted by Izzy Forman on behalf of NBC.  He was aware of the fact that I had wondered why local media like The Enquirer did not see in the upcoming “Clash of the Choirs” program an opportunity for Cincinnati to shine.  He asked that I share this promo:

Forman also asked that I share this link, about how people can still submit video to be featured on the program.

I fully realize, on the one hand, that by posting everything I just did I have given NBC some free advertising for an upcoming television show.  At the same time, I think it’s noteworthy that the Enquirer decided to fabricate “facts” and to write a negative story about what could be a great chance for Cincinnati to shine.

I also wonder about figures like the Mayor.  He had no problem touring the county about his ridiculous baseball pitch, so why not try to utilize this moment to benefit the City?  I mean, aren’t there any local political types with connections to Nick Lachey?

Thank you for reading (and printing from) The Cincinnati Beacon.
