Cincinnati’s Gaia Foundation applies for State funding Saturday, January 19, 2008

This week, Vlasta Molak from Cincinnati’s Gaia Foundation has decided to apply State money under the capital funds bill. Gaia Foundation promotes sustainable developments and livable communities, in addition to having two cats.
Molak says the Foundation has three projects that are directly eligible for applying. “They are relevant to the community needs, reducing greenhouse gases emissions, and to safety in Hamilton County and Cincinnati,” said Molak. “They combine economic development with green technologies and with solving social problems, which are the main cause of crime in Cincinnati and Hamilton County.”
“Thus in a fair and honest competition,” Molak concludes, “Gaia Foundation will undoubtedly be the prime contestant to win the funding for those projects.”
Molak has requested that the Hamilton County Commissioners send her electronic applications so she can secure these funds as soon as possible.
Additionally, she hosts a weekly potluck, where you can learn more about her projects.
