Dr. Heimlich says “malariotherapy” moving forward - could Dr. Wulsin have prevented this?

For the past few years, Dr. Victoria Wulsin has repeatedly attempted to distance herself from the Heimlich Institute’s discredited experiments infecting AIDS patients with malaria. Perhaps her most absurd claim comes from a March 2008 Wulsin for Congress campaign statement. But could Wulsin have stopped more victims from being abused by these experiments? We have shocking footage to confirm that Dr. Heimlich is still on the prowl with his “malariotherapy” experiments!

The bold highlighting is from the original 2008 campaign statement:

Dr. Wulsin’s contract with the Heimlich Institute was terminated the day after her draft report was submitted for review by the Institute’s board and the board of the parent Deaconess Foundation. Vic Wulsin blew the whistle on a potentially dangerous therapy and asked questions about the ethical standards being used in the research. She didn’t stay silent - she spoke up, and lost her job for doing it.

Here’s how the Government Accountability Project defines whistleblowing:

Blowing the whistle may include:

(a) reporting wrongdoing or a violation of the law to the proper authorities such as a supervisor, a hotline or an Inspector General
(b) refusing to participate in workplace wrongdoing
(c) testifying in a legal proceeding
(d) leaking evidence of wrongdoing to the media

There’s no indication Dr. Wulsin did anything remotely approaching that. If she had, Dr. Henry Heimlich’s “malariotherapy” experiments might have ended.

In fact, Dr. Heimlich recently told The Beacon he’s moving forward with a new “malariotherapy” project in another country. On March 5, The Beacon’s Justin Jeffre ran into Dr. Heimlich after a Cincinnati Rotary Club meeting. Here’s his on-the-spot interview - the audio’s rough, so we’ve included a transcription:

JJ: Dr. Heimlich, hi! Justin Jeffre. I was wondering if you can tell me what the current status of immunotherapy is?
HH: Oh, (laughs) that’s, it’s exceedingly good.
JJ: Yeah?
HH: Ah… (hesitates, laughs, looks at camera)
JJ: It’s a video camera.
HH: Huh?
JJ: It’s just a video camera. I was at the Rotary Club event. I was videotaping that.
HH: Uh, we just had an extensive meeting. And it’s starting in a new country…we’re using it. Yeah.
JJ: So it seems to be progressing?
HH: Progressing very well.
JJ: What country?
HH: We’re taking it slow, but it has to be.
JJ: What country?
HH: I can’t tell you that. (unintelligible)
JJ: I understand. So how long have you been following immunotherapy or malaria?
HH: It’s been (long pause)...well, considerably more than ten years.
JJ: Wow.
HH: More than ten years.
JJ: So how many patients have been tested?
HH: How much of the background do you know?
JJ: Just a little bit, not too much.
HH: Are you recording?
JJ: Uh, yeah actually.
HH: Huh?
JJ: I was just curious. I mean it sounds like a really interesting field to study.
HH: It’s very logical. It’s not…the method was used. Are you familiar with the background? (Points to the camera) Please turn that off.

If Dr. Wulsin had blown the whistle as she claims, she might have been able to put a stop to these abusive experiments years ago. Instead she cashed Heimlich’s checks and now wants to re-write history.

This is still going on? And he has moved it to another country? When is this going to be stopped? Who is going to stop this old man and his fantasy world? Is there ever going to be an IRB to stop this? Why can’t his son Phil stop him from killing people? Isn’t he a Christian? This is barbaric.

After Election Day, Wulsin is surely going to report Dr. Heimlich, right?
