Cuck & Bull Story: Can a Hamilton County Republican Outdo David Vitter?

Thanks to Senator David Vitter, R-LA, recently many Americans were introduced to the world of diaper fetishism. Vitter’s public image as a staunch family values Republican took a beating amid lurid news stories of escort services and Jay Leno jokes about adult Pampers.

Not to be outdone, word is that Hamilton County has its own high-profile hypocrite with a taste for unusual extra-curricular activities. Like Vitter, this Republican preaches “traditional family values” and attacks all the usual targets. Like Vitter, he’s used his own family to hype his wholesome image. But in private he’s said to indulge in a decidedly more exotic activity known as “cuckolding.”

Cuckolding is a fetish in which a married man is willingly humiliated by encouraging his wife to engage in sex with another man, sometimes in front of him. Commonly, the wife and her lover (known as a “bull") get to mistreat and humiliate the husband in a variety of extreme ways. (No links, folks. This is the Beacon, not Hustler. Not surprisingly, more material is available online for those of you who just have to know.)

Why would a husband submit to this? Google for more info, but it appears the husband plays a submissive role to his wife and enjoys the degradation. It’s also suggested that this fetish may allow a closeted gay man to have the opportunity to watch another man in action. A source tells us that Southern Ohio has an active “cuckold” subculture, complete with internet hook-ups. Rumor has it our family values Repub and “hot wife” are known on the scene.

Is this why the kiddies don’t look like daddy?

Please tell us: what is the purpose of this posting?  Are we to guess who this might be or are we to suspect all Republicans?  Do you have proof of what you say; if so what is it?  Is this any different than your “joke” on Jeff Berding?  Is this a prime example of your personal ethics, with which, you operate the Beacon ?  Is innuendo that much different than a lie?

To JFD - This is what is known in the trade as a “blind item”, a long established tradition in the news business. Blind items exist to convey information which the publication believes to be bona fide but for various reasons cannot include names. For current examples, see any edition of Wonkette, Gawker, big city dailies like the NY Daily News, etc.

If these items bug you, skip ‘em.

Wow, validation by anon #7.  Now I have no choice but to believe it, and therefore I must respect the Beacon, for bringing this life enriching gossip to our attention.

Are we to suspect all “family values” touting Republicans, or just one?  Is this person even a Republican?  Maybe it’s really a Green Party candidate for council, and this is just a smoke screen.  Who can tell? Cuckolding is news to me, but casual Googling turns up what appears to be a thriving subsculture and no doubt there are locals who participate.

From what I gather, the cuckold lifestyle appeals to husbands who enjoy humiliation and wives who like to dish it out to them. It’s common knowledge that some men who present a highly aggressive image in public enjoy private humiliation with call girls, dressing up as babies, sitting in highchairs, and so forth. Perhaps this behavior is similar, but goes on within the family?

Any players out there who can tell us more?

Sorry, JFD, I thought you knew the basics of the language.

“Useless,” “unethical,” and “mean spirited” all serve as this handy little thing called ADJECTIVES.  Those are descriptive words.  They describe NOUNS.  Nouns are “things.”

As indicated in my comment #15, I asked for the third “thing.”

So, as stated previously, you have imagined that things must either be facts with evidence (two nouns working together as a single unit), or crap (which you modify with several adjectives).

There are other alternatives.

I don’t care if you don’t care who this is about.  This piece is serving a function:  and sometimes, the function of a piece of media activism is different from educating dolts like you.

Of possible interest to local blogwatchers, yesterday Nasty, Brutish and Short ran an item about the Beacon’s cuckold story with the title, “Ridiculous Blind Item of the Day.”

Interestingly, earlier today the above faxed letter to George Vincent was posted as a comment under NBS’s item and appeared briefly on his blog before being deleted. (NBS, if the story’s so ridiculous, why delete a letter to the chair of the local Republican Party?)

In his item, and this is typical for NBS, he pontificates without knowing what he’s talking about. There are several examples in his cuck item which confuses cuckoldry (a fetish behavior) with swinging. Here’s the most obvious example of NBS’s ignorance of the subject:

And what about that “hot wife” clue?  Surely it’s not a physical description?  If so, it certainly narrows the list of potential cuckolds quite dramatically.

If NBS had done minimal Googling, he’d know that “hot wife” doesn’t mean “good looking wife” or “sexy wife” as he assumes. From Wiki:

The term hot wife refers to a married woman who has sex with men other than her spouse, with the husband’s consent. In most cases the husbands take a vicarious pleasure in watching their wives and the other male’s enjoyment, or enjoy watching, hearing, or knowing about their wives’ adventures.

Therefore, NBS, for failing to do mininal research before posting, for writing and posting an ignorant item, and for censoring legitimate comments simply because you disagree with the POV, you must be disciplined without mercy. Your punishment is to get down on all fours, beg, and vote the straight Republican ticket!

Oops, nevermind. You’re already there. I’ll have to think of something else....

Republican’s speak before they do their research unless they are the ones involved! Just take a brief look at Craigslist Cincinnati-and you will find under the M4F or Casual Encounters an entire subculture in this city that would make Si Blush! Oh but then again didn’t he see OH Calcutta at least 3 times before he thought it was obscene????? And you thought Craigslist was just for buying and selling things? Whoa baby!

Hilarious follow-up to the Nasty Brutish and Short comment above. NBS saw it here, then posted it verbatim on his blog, including the part ordering him down on all fours. I always suspected NBS craved punishment and he just proved it.

formerly f, this has nothing to do with me. If you go back and read who wrote this story you’ll see I didn’t write it.

I see nothing wrong with owning stocks in a company and being critical of some of the things a company does. Have you ever worked for a company and been critical of it? I have.

I don’t control most of the companies I’ve owned stocks in. What’s wrong with criticizing them when you feel it’s deserved? I never said they should be put out of business. I’ve only said they should act more responsibly and there should be alternatives to a corporate controlled media. Then I promoted, supported and helped create alternative media outlets like the one you’re enjoying right now. (Feel free to contribute!)

Corporations are sensitive to criticism and have been known to change their behavior when the public makes something they’re doing an issue. (Like Pepsi and Aquafina’s recent admission.) Owning a few stocks doesn’t make or break them and won’t likely change their behavior.

There are some more corporations that I’m critical of and I will likely buy stocks in them so I can get more information about them and attend their share holders meetings if I so choose. I remember being outside of the Convergys meeting when members of AMOS and the Justice for Janitors campaign were trying to deliver a message to them about their poverty wages. Convergys refused to send out a representative. I wished I had owned some of their stocks because I would’ve been happy to deliver the message.

What a shame that the city of Cincinnati has subsidized them and Convergys had refused not only to pay living wages, but even to meet with community leaders after many letters, calls and requests were sent to them. Our community tried to take care of Convergys when they said they were in need and all we got in return is taken.

Enough about me though, now back to the topic.

BFD, I think my comments went completely over your head.  I’m not concerned with the subject of the story; the lack of ethics involved in publishing innuendo, is what has my interest.  You should go back and reread them, as they now apply to you, too.

Along the same lines, it may have been Michael Moore who suggested that a great way to change the NRA’s course would be if gun control advocates joined that organization en masse, thereby forming a majority voting bloc to take the organization away from the Wayne LaPierre types.

i know your BFF did.  doesn’t change the fact that the “minister of information” of the beacon is a well known hypocrite while at the same time the beacon is attacking the issue of hypocrisy.  Do you see the connection now?

I see nothing wrong with owning stocks in a company and being critical of some of the things a company does.

You should ask mitt romney who just got taken to task by the media for the same issue what he thinks.  If you don’t see the problem you are blind

No. What i did when i was critical of a company because i didn’t believe in it’s way of business was leave the company.  Since I was not able to find a company that met my criteria I started my own company so that my values and beliefs were reflected in my work.  I also refuse to invest in stocks that run prior to my beliefs. 

Don’t want to hijack the thread anymore. I just wanted to point out the hypocrisies of the beacon in which hypocrites they choose to attack.

Not over my head my dear JFD- it is just that you got all rightous on us and it seemed a bit defensive about the topic.
Apparently after looking at Craigslist and googling the topic, there is a large portion of our society that practices this type of lifestyle. While we may or maynot agree with it, it is real and is out there.
Personally, I find it a bit creepy. But to each their own. What goes on behind your closed doors is your business- but just don’t be a hypocrit and hold these high assed morals in public when you have a “lifestyle” that is far from them at home. Just be yourself and honest. Gets you a lot further in life.

JFD, the cuck story is a blind item. Previous comments explained that publishing a blind items is a common and long-accepted tradition in journalism.

Despite having been made aware of this information, you continue to find fault in the Beacon choosing to publish the cuck item. Therefore, let’s try to sort out your argument.

Before proceeding, please clarify: Do you consider it acceptable to publish blind items? If you it unacceptable to publish blind items, then your beef is not with the Beacon, it’s with journalism. On the other hand, if you consider publishing blind items to be acceptable, then please state your precise objections why the Beacon should not have published this one, and we’ll take it from there.

Jason refuses, to admit to being a journalist; so what happens in journalism stays in journalism.  He claims, he is a “media activist, which has no long standing traditions.  He also refuses to put into writing, any ethical guidelines for his media activism; which allows me to judge his actions according to my standards. I consider blind items, as published here, to be unacceptable.

Actually, I like sharing myself with another man while hubby can’t do a damn thing about it but just sit there and watch! It’s exciting as hell watching him just quiver in fear. And as far as the Red Headed Stranger...does that answer the age old question about children?
