Baratz Speaks!  Full Coverage of Press Conference about Wulsin

Posted by The Dean of Cincinnati

See the footage The Enquirer’s Margaret McGurk missed.  Instead of staying at the recent press conference, she just grabbed a press packet, left, and then failed to report the facts accurately.  We’ve got complete coverage.

2/26/08 NCAHF press release re: complaint against Dr. Wulsin’s medical license is here: http://tinyurl.com/2e2nyt

  2. says:

Dr. Baratz may not be politically motivated in his attacks on Dr. Victoria Wulsin, as he claims, but that certainly isn’t the case with her opponent in the 2nd Congressional District Democratic primary. Attorney Steve Black, financing his own advertising in the absence of outside political support, has exploited Baratz’s criticism in extending his smear campaign against Wulsin. His new TV ads strongly suggest that the Ohio State Medical Board found against Wulsin in a case involving charges brought by Dr. Baratz in 2006; the truth is that the board has sat on those charges since then, taking no action. Black’s reckless misuse of facts isn’t likely to win him the nomination Tuesday, but may unfairly cast a shadow over the reputation of an honorable fellow Democrat. However, since Black supported and voted for Republicans for years before announcing his candidacy as a Democrat, he isn’t likely to worry too much about the party he adopted as a political convenience.
