A note from Wayne Coates
Former State Representative Wayne Coates is running for Hamilton County Recorder in the upcoming November General Election.
The office of county recorder was established to record and maintain accurate land records such as deeds, mortgages, land plats, proceedings of annexations, municipal incorporation, liens, and some other documents such as partnerships, military discharges, living wills, power of attorney.
Wayne Coates is currently serving as Courtroom Bailiff for Municipal Court Judge Ted Berry, and is broker/owner of Coates Realty having held his real estate broker’s since 1981. Coates served on Forest Park City Council from 1989 through 1999, serving as Forest park’s Mayor from 1995 to 1999.
“As an elected community leader and a real estate broker I’m dedicated to constituent and customer service…I intent to bring these traits to the recorder’s office to improve public relations,” Coates said.
