In case you missed this excellent article in Counterpunch from one of Cincy’s own biggest troublemakers, Dan LaBotz, it is a very interesting take on Obama’s speech on race. Presidential races are generally just horse races focused on polls, fundraising, phony posturing and the lies they call spin. But the electoral process is supposed to be a deep discussion about the direction of our country. Obama and LaBotz have both contributed to this important discussion.

LaBotz is the author of “Who Rules Cincinnati” which is also an excellent article worth reading.
