Wulsin choking on a Heimlich maneuver? Slippery Vic tripped by work history

Vic Wulsin’s Heimlich problem isn’t going anywhere, and now her alleged employment at the Heimlich Institute has reared its head in a new complaint by incumbent Jean Schmidt. But ultimately, the controversies surrounding Wulsin are not political—they’re medical, and the issue is figuring out what, exactly, has been going on at The Heimlich Institute. The timing this week is more alluring given Dr. Heimich’s recent appearance at a Rotary Club meeting, promoting his debunked and weird medical theories that experts warn can put innocent lives at risk.
Here is the press release recently distributed by the Jean Schmidt campaign:
That press release prompted this item from PolickerOH, which echos the press statement:
The Schmidt camp said that Wulsin “has not, according to her discloser documents, held a job since 2004 when she left the Heimlich Institute; a claim she has also made in the media and on her resume, yet her financial disclosure filings list no income.”
“If Ms. Wulsin did work for the Heimlich Institute as she claims, how much did she make and who paid her? It’s the only job she has had in four years-surely she hasn’t forgotten,” Pfaff said.
“In an effort to be fair, we will not file a complaint with Federal authorities for 10 days,” Pfaff said. “That ought to give Ms. Wulsin enough time to sort out what untruths have been reported and amend all of her disclosures. If she fails to do so, she leaves us with little choice.”
Interestingly, Wulsin just uploaded a new commercial to YouTube, where she emphasizes truth telling:
That’s right - Wulsin is complaining that Schmidt hasn’t told the whole truth, but it looks like Wulsin hasn’t, either. What is her work history with the Heimlich Institute? Perhaps Wulsin has been taking lessons on “truthfulness” from her old colleague from The Heimlich Institute, fringe right-winged radio talk show host Phil Heimlich:
One must wonder if Wulsin is telling “the whole truth.”

Why can’t people just tell the truth?
After all this time, we all know that you worked at the Institute-did you think you could hide it from the government? My word you are playing in the big leagues now. What would happen if Tim Russert was alive today and had you in the “hot seat” of Meet the Press? You would melt when me would start asking you questions about the Heimlich Institute- He wouldn’t settle for the “Well you know Tim, I’m just not going to answer that right now.” for an answer...He’d have you in tears. And so will the rest of the beltway media. So- get ready for the big leagues if that is what you want.

Dr. Wulsin’s contract with the Heimlich Institute was terminated the day after her draft report was submitted for review by the Institute’s board and the board of the parent Deaconess Foundation.
Dr. Wulsin has stated she worked for the Heimlich Institute in 2004.

The biggest blast in the campaign, however, was a fundraising letter by Schmidt accusing Wulsin of taking part in a “grotesque” human experiment that involved injecting malaria into AIDS victims.
The allegation involves research by Dr. Henry Heimlich, best known for the “maneuver” used to dislodge food from choking victims. Heimlich has theorized that AIDS patients can be cured with malaria injections because the high fevers the malaria causes kills the AIDS virus. The fevers can then be treated, he believes.
Wulsin, under a contract with Heimlich’s institute, analyzed some of the research done in China and Africa and concluded the treatment has not worked.

Vic Wulsin spoke at an NAACP meeting and her claim to fame--and I swear this is the truth--is that she wrote and won a MLK essay contest in high school. Seriouly who gives a rat’s behind. Then a white audience member asked her if she is still experimenting (testing)monkeys? It was hilarious.
On the other hand Schmidt gives out free ice during black outs (you can’t beat that Cincysuz) I’m going with Schmidt because of the ice. She gets my vote because she gives out ice and she’s not afraid to wear her hair pulled back in a bun. Oh yeah Cincysuz--and she has a twin sister.
Excuse me the rest of yaaaaall with serious comments. Cincysuz says I’m just your average voter.
