About a week ago, I got an anonymous brown envelope sent to my home, inside of which was a flyer entitled “Join the Sea Arrrgh!” It got lost in a stack, and I just pulled it out—only to discover that I have missed the Cincinnati Sea Arrrgh. (It was scheduled for this past Saturday.) And I’m betting a whole bunch of other people missed the Sea Arrrgh, too. So what is it? Why did it come to Cincinnati? Should we have heard about it over the weekend?
Turns out The Sea Arrrgh has its own website, and it is affiliated with the global “anonymous” assault on the Church of Scientology. Apparently, all across our blue planet, people organized this past weekend to protest Scientology. So what happened downtown on 4th street? Was there a big showing? How did it go?
This video, from the Sea Arrrgh web site, indicates that the group really knows how to put on a show, with a knack for street drama:
If this kind of thing happened in Cincinnati, the local media should have sent some camera crews. Guess The Beacon will have to make sure we’ve got cameras on hand for the next street theater protest outside the local Scientology HQ.

The Sea Arrgh sailed into Cincinnati on Saturday, braving sun and some game day traffic to spread information about the scurvy dogs of Davey’s Navy. Anonymous protestors wore masks to protect themselves from the longstanding “Fair Game” policy of Scientology, where any criticism is silenced by attempts to destroy the critic. Public response was enthusiastic, the police were very fair and evenhanded, and there was plenty of cake, singing, and pirate talk. The media, once again, did not make an appearance, although many of the cities worldwide who protested received attention.
This month’s protest theme, The Sea Arrrgh! was geared towards exposing Scientology’s Sea Org, the supposedly monastic branch of the organization. Dedicated Scientologists, many of whom do not have the huge amounts of money required to follow the “path to total freedom” that is the equivalent of salvation or nirvana, do hard labor under extremely controlled conditions for fifty dollars a week or less. Scientology gives them no health benefits, no retirement benefits, and when they become sick or too old, will “offload” them with, if they are lucky, a few hundred dollars and a bus ticket to the middle of nowhere. Sea Org members are not allowed to spend more than an hour a day with their children, and women who become pregnant in the Sea Org are coerced into having abortions rather than face being thrown out, jobless and homeless, and cut off from any family or friends who are in the Sea Org. Anyone who wants to leave must face six months or more of interrogation and punitive conditions before being allowed to leave, and those who do are saddled with massive bills, often in the hundreds of thousands of dollars, for the Scientology courses they received while working in the Sea Org. And all of this is merely the tip of the iceberg!

So glad you took notice of the Press Pack that all the media in Cincinnati were given. No one else did, in fact, they shrink away in fear from even mentioning our global protests...to the point of filtering out emails that have the word Scientology in them and or flat out stating that they will not ever run a story on the protests (the Enquirer). We did have a very brief blurb on television(about 20 seconds??) after the first protest in which they blurred our signs and attempted to seem baffled as to why we were out there, despite the “reporter” being well educated as to exactly why we were there.
So what gives in Cincinnati? Fear of lawsuits is the likely answer. It won’t take the average computer user ten seconds to google Fair Game*Scientology to find out what happens to media who dare take on this powerful corrupt corporation. We protest wearing masks to protect our identities because of what happens to those who are identified, see http://forums.enturbulation.org/122-fair-game/ where the corporation of Scientology’s fair game acts against those who dare to exercise their dissatisfaction with the cult are documented. (dare to read about Operation Snow White, the largest infiltration of the U.S. Government, ever...by this so called “church” and Paulette Cooper, Tory Cristman aka Tory Magoo, Mark Bunker, aka Wise Beard Man, Bob Minton, and many many others).
We were stunned to find the OSA (the cult’s secret service intelligence branch)directive about who and what Anonymous are posted to the Cincinnati Police Department’s blotter which can be found HERE: http://rcc.org/police/downloads/police_pdf18422.pdf under threats to Scientology.
The document they sent to our police department was full of undocumented lies, not one Anonymous protester has ever been charged with a crime (unless you call using the word Cult on a sign in London a crime; their courts didn’t). The FBI has fully investigated their pitiful charges and found them to be false, and even hinted that the Cult sent themselves envelopes full of baby powder themselves, (this was seen on CNN during the now infamous Tommy Davis interview). The cult even made a bomb threat video, the evidence proving the cult made the video in their state of the art film studio in Hemet, California, was also turned over to the FBI by members of Anonymous. On the other hand COUNTLESS Scientologists are on film assaulting and bull baiting protesters, including the latest, Plymouth, England protester and MS victim Stu Wyatt, a hero of a man who protests on a handicapped scooter, yes, HE was assaulted. See Enturblation links for videos. A young female protester in Seattle, WA was grabbed by the throat and thrown to the ground by a Scientologist, and anyone who dares to obey the law and apply for a protest permit is instantly fair gamed by the cult. See Boston Greg’s story at enturbulation.org.
If the cult will go this far, what else might they do? Perhaps that is what the media in Cincinnati is thinking when they pretend that we do not exist. The media in the rest of the world however is not so cowardly. The Village Voice in New York numbers among the many brave souls who dare to report the truth on why we protest.
To see what other media do not have their tails between their legs when it comes to the Cult, please see http://forums.enturbulation.org/15-media/. As you can tell, it seems that only Cincinnati lacks even the most basic coverage.
These protests are GLOBAL, from Moscow to Tel Aviv, from Paris to Munich, and everywhere in between, and nearly everywhere else in the WORLD including Pravda in Russia (yes, that’s right, RUSSIA) has covered the protests. But NOT Cincinnati.
Therefore I am profoundly grateful that this blurb has made it onto a blog...more grateful than you can imagine. We come out once a month in our beloved city to attempt to educate people about one of the most profitable businesses in the city....one that does NOT pay taxes on their profits. It has been stated by insider leaks that the Cincinnati Scientology org. has been posting profits of 60 to 90 THOUSAND dollars a week. Selling their electronic opium (auditing on the e-meter) and other “services”. I have attempted to get people “in power” alerted to the FACT that the building is secretly used for HOUSING when it is zoned business, that the building lacks proper handicapped access (try going in there in your wheel chair, not only will the Cult reject you * Scientology is for the able* but you had better not need to use the bathroom while you’re there.) NO ONE CARES that this cult is gleaning millions per year from Cincinnati and, at the same time, breaking our laws. They even have a “sauna” in there for their “Purif rundown” and we have to wonder when the last time that was inspected by the health department.
Why doesn’t anyone care? (google Fair Game).
As for what has been happening right in Cincinnati and around the world under the noses of the media, please see:
http://community.webshots.com/user/Cincinnati_Anonymous
Ask yourself, is Scientology just another harmless religion? We don’t care if you believe in alien implants (including their belief that Jesus was one such oddity, please see wikileaks.org, search Scientology, OT III see it for yourself, all their documents are now available for free on wikileaks.org, much to the Corporation’s chagrin), we want this cult to pay the same taxes that other religions must, we want them to end their practice of Fair Game, turn loose all their prisoners in their prison camp (the RPF) in Hemet, California, stop sailing the Freewinds which is full of the deadly blue asbestos, and KNOWINGLY subjecting their members to this deadly carcinogen. We want them to make their beliefs KNOWN and open to inquisitors prior to these people paying money.
What other religion in the entire world won’t tell you what they believe in until the check clears? What other religion in the entire world has a secret service division devoted to making sure no one gets out, and those that do are too terrified to speak out? What other religion asks children as young as 14 to sign a billion year contract to the secret service and demands that these children work u to 18 hour a day and denies them a proper education? Think I am making it up? Please visit exscientologykids.com and read their stories. It that isn’t enough to make your blood run cold and join us for our next GLOBAL protest, I cannot imagine what would.
Thanks for the coverage, please take some time to learn more about what we’re doing and why. (And yes, we also care about starvation in Darfur and the never ending war, but this is happening NOW in our City to OUR people and it’s time to take a stand.)
Scary Anonymous
(cause signing my real name would insure that I got a nasty gram from the cult and my neighborhood plastered with flyers calling me a pedophile.)

So what is it?
Sea Arrrgh was the theme for this months protest against $cientology. This month was to focus on $cientology’s Sea Org. It was ment to highlight the abuses that occur in their Sea Org. Including:
* RPF <- many ex-scientologist refer to these as prison camps & slave labor
* Blue Asbestos on their Freewinds ship (currently drydocked since the protests started). Their management has know about the blue asbestos issue for a couple of decades. They were just content letting their people get exposed
* Isolation of Org members (all incoming & outgoing phone calls and mail are monitored).
There is much much more but I don’t want to overload everyone.
Why did it come to Cincinnati?
This is occuring globally. Cincinnati has it’s own $cientology center downtown. This one operates 5-6 offices in locations like Covington & Hamilton, OH. Many are horrified by the human rights abuses perpetrated by $cientology. Some are former $cientolgoists themselves. Many concerned about $cientology’s deceptive nature <- that is a major understantment.
A good introduction as to why we are protesting can be found at http://youfoundthecard.com/
Should we have heard about it over the weekend?
Promotions have been broadcast on Youtube, national blogs and is reported by some city’s media. Cincnnati’s media still seems to be scared of $cientology.
So what happened downtown on 4th street?

Anonymous shall comment indeed. You missed a hell of a time. Also many other local media outlets did as well. One, a major newspaper in Cincinnati that shall go unnamed, is actually afraid to do a story on us because they fear Scientology. Fox did a story on us months ago, but censored our signs by blurring them out out of fear of retaliation by Scientology.
Since when does this happen in America? The media is more afraid of Scientology than our own government. That there should tell you something is badly wrong here.

Hello,
I was not part of the Cincinnati Sea Arrgh, but instead I was in attendance at the Sea Arrgh that was happening around the same time in Winnipeg. There were Sea Arrgh factions all around the world doing their thing this past weekend in protest against Scientology. Although the official numbers aren’t out yet, there are estimates that put global attendance between 4 and 8 thousand.
I’d like to show you some of the photo’s and videos from my local Sea Arrgh, so you have more reference materials for why checking out the next Cincinnati protest is a good idea.

the reason the media doesn’t cover the ANONYMOUS protests is because they’d much rather cover the death of anna nicole smith or make sure we know what britney is doing at all times.
there is a global movement going on right now that is going to change how people go about changing their world. they’re called ANONYMOUS and they’re from the internet. they go about their business not asking for glory or power. they use the internet as a shield and a weapon.
they are worldwide. they have no leaders. they want to remain anonymous. they are a true democracy. anyone seeking glory and/or power will get an immediate over-the-net smackdown. you’ll be a pariah and no one wants to NOT be in this group.
ANONYMOUS is determined to stop the horrific abuses by the cult of $cientology. there are efforts to stop the cult from getting their special IRS tax-break that was obtained illegally in a backroom meeting between the head of the irs and the head of the cult. $cientology gets a “religious” tax-break that NO other real church gets here in the united states. ANONYMOUS is desperately trying to get some government organization and amnesty international to look into the gulag-like conditions that enslaved third-world teenagers are suffering within the cult’s sea org. this cult is breaking so many city, state, federal, and international laws that it’s difficult to wade through them all. that’s not stopping ANONYMOUS: we’re wading through every ugly thing they’ve done and are doing right now.
i certainly hope that the cincinnati beacon will cover the rest of the ANONYMOUS protests.
ANONYMOUS.
EXPECT US.

You can see the scale of the global protests in here http://tenyaka.googlepages.com/june14.html . This is already the 5th month of protests so smaller cities in US also started to have media coverage.

Just like to say i was part of the June protest against Co$ here in the UK. In effect we are not protesting against individual members of the cult but against the behaviour of the upper echelons withing the organisation. As was stated by Justice Latey at the high court of London “Scientology is corrupt sinister and dangerous”.

I’d like to add that in the spirit of Fair Game I have, just last night, received my first threat, yes, a man claiming to be an OTV at the Cincinnati Org. has threatened to rape me. A harmless religion? I don’t think so. His information will be turned over to police, along with the threat.

Phildelphia Anonymous here. Good amount of people attended. Sorry to hear you weren’t able to attend and cover the event. If you follow the words about the internet, and the wise words of Wise Beard Man (Mark Bunker) you will find more information on the protests, next protests, and objectives.

For everyone reading the comments, not familiar with Scientology, please allow for a short introduction to the subject.
Yes, $cientology is a UFO religion of famous movie stars.
But primarily, it is a pyramid bait-n-switch scheme. Members fail to recognize this because the founder of Scientology, L Ron Hubbard, devised a very effective brainwashing system, using pretty much all knowledge that was available on this topic in the 50’s.
Members are going massaged into a solid superiority complex. The central tenet of Scientology is that Scientologists are a super-’race’ called Homo Novus who are to use super-human powers to ‘clear’ this planet. These super-powers include higher IQ, resistance to any desease, perfect memory (those costs around 50K$) via telepathic gifts (about 150K$) to complete control over Matter, Energy, Space and Time (this sets you back around 360K$). Although Scientology sounds a bit like science, no Scientologists has ever shown these powers.
Although freedom of religion entitles everyone to believe his or hers choosing, the methods of the cult’s management are nefarious. To achieve the goal of clearing the planet, Scientology redefines ‘ethical’ as those actions that benefit $cientology. This leads to widespread abuse of its own members, consistent clashes with the law and merciless attacks on critics. $cientology scritures are filled to the rim with such statements as ‘you can get away with murder as long as you are upstat (ie bring in money)’ or ‘these are men dead because they attacked us’ (please don’t believe me, google them).
At the very core, those most thoroughly brainwashed, will be ‘asked’ to join the Sea Org, the cult’s make-believe Navy. For a taste of the abuse in this inner layer of Scientology, google Scientology plus abuse, forced abortion, child labor or slave labor. You only need to take a quick glance at the number of hits to understand something very fishy is going on. For the best collection of evidence on these abuses please visit xenu-directory.net.
Scientology IS a risk to society, and hopefully the US government will be following the example of Germany, Belgium, Greece and France who are monitoring its activities closely.
PS Sorry for any grammar errors, I am not a native speaker, just an Anonymous protestor somewhere else on the globe.

Don’t feel too upset about coverage. The newspaper won’t cover a drop of the stuff this city does to it’s own citizens.
Thank you though to the discription of Scientology. One only has to look at Tom Cruise and know somethings up. He must be high up the totem pole.
Maybe the city is involved in this stuff. They can get quite testy for being critical of anything. Usually they will just fine you, or give a parking ticket though. Maybe force you to move somewhere else by a plot to take away your apartment building, or hold you responsible for something that has nothing to do with you. Sometimes I wonder if they also are not a UFO group. I can see some simularities.
I have to ask a question and it is a serious one. What is it that gets one soooo deep into this, that you are in the postion of having secret Police and be subject to all this stuff ? They hide it until you reach a certain depth? I mean a cult is a cult, and Tom Cruise I can imagine going for “power” , but cant imagine them punishing him or torture. I cant imagine Vinnny Barbarino going for the apceship stuff though. They must be in a different program.
Thanks for the info, and take care of yourselves.

Astute observation, JustInCase. There are many levels to Scientology, and it’s only at certain levels (after certain very large amounts of money spent) that members become aware of the things we would consider especially bizarre in the belief system. All the stuff about Xenu, aliens brought to Earth in DC-8s and tossed into volcanos, things like that, is learned when a member reaches a level called Operating Thetan III. This level is referred to in the cult as the “Wall of Fire,” because it is at this level when if someone is going to leave the cult because its teachings are crazy, this is the time.
Most Scientologists have NOT reached this level, and will claim that the story of Xenu is a lie because they don’t know any better. Higher level Scientologists, the ones who have learned the story, are authorized by the teachings to lie to non-Scientologists about it, or about anything that might make Scientology looks bad. (These lies are called “shore stories,” a nod to the failed naval career of L. Ron Hubbard.)Tom Cruise is supposedly Operating Thetan VII, only one level short of the highest possible, so he should be aware of the fairly large chunk of Scientology teaching that involves aliens. In fact, it’s really impossible that he would’ve reached that level without not only being exposed to it, but believing it and attempting to banish the alien souls clinging to his own body.
That said, it’s true that celebrities take a different course in Scientology. There are buildings called “Celebrity Centers” devoted solely to spiritual care of people who could bring good press as Scientology members. Celebrities are extremely catered to and favored in Scientology, and are NEVER exposed to the punishments often meted out to normal members. Tom Cruise will never be sent to Scientology’s prison camp or made to run arouond a pole twelve hours a day for months at a time. He will not be disconnected from his family as long as they are not hostile to Scientology, though his ex-wife Nicole looks to already be feeling the pressure of disconnection from the kids. Celebrities can say Scientology is great, because they are carefully protected from the worst of its evils.

Ironic, isn’t it that one of Cruise’s more famous lines in a movies is… ???
SHOW ME THE MONEY !!!
Now only if Harvey Korman was one as well....
Count the Money !!! .... Count the Money !!!
