Interview with Steven Pavelish, Candidate for City Council, 2007

Posted by The Dean of Cincinnati

Andrew Warner is back doing some media activism, this time filming Josh Krekeler (Convener, Southwest Ohio Green Party) interview a new candidate for City Council—Steven Pavelish.  You can see Pavelish’s campaign page here.  He promises to do things like work “full time” as a Councilmember, and he shares several “fun facts”—like how Cincinnati is a one-day drive for 60% of the U.S.A.

  1. Oust the incumbents! says:

I don’t know about his politics but he’s not owned by Cincinnati’s ruling class and can’t be any worse than most on this current council.

  2. Sean Holbrook says:

    WHAT???

Politics are all about money. Grassroots? more like Assroots.
I recognize that the political system is money driven, and plan to sell tattoo space on my ass to business owners, so I can fund the circus that is Holbrook-A-Mania.

I don’t know how Pavelish’s campaign plans to even move, when I crush them with a mountain of 100 dollar bills.

Don’t get me wrong, Im not selling out. I have just decided to buy in.

  3. The Singing Press Secretary says:

I actually kinda like this guy, even though his fun facts were the least fun I’ve had since Bingo night.

We’ll be sure to invite him, and all candidates and issue advocacy groups for that matter, to our S.I.P Entertainment Extravaganza Campaign Events, which will jolt the people of Cincinnti into a new age of community involvement.

Still, I refuse to speak his name, because that would take the spotlight away from Holbrook, the rightful heir to the council throne.
