The Blue Chip Young Republicans, Hamilton County’s only under-40 Republican club, conducted a straw poll at the club’s monthly meeting on Monday, April 24, 2006. As a matter of club policy, the Blue Chip Young Republicans have not endorsed any candidates in the May 2, 2006 primary. It was made clear to the meeting attendees that the results did not constitute candidate endorsements.
The results of the Blue Chip Young Republicans straw poll, which should not be construed as an endorsement of any particular candidate, are as follows:
Governor of Ohio/Lt. Governor of Ohio: Ken Blackwell/Tom Raga
Ohio Attorney General: Tim Grendell
Ohio Secretary of State: Greg Hartmann
Ohio Treasurer: Sandra O’Brien
Ohio Auditor: Mary Taylor
United States Senate: David Smith
United States House of Representatives, 1st Congressional District: Steve Chabot
United States House of Representatives, 2nd Congressional District: Bob McEwen
Founded in 1988, the Blue Chip Young Republicans have won three national awards including Young Republican National Federation Club of the Year in 1997. The official website of the Blue Chip Young Republicans can be found at: http://www.bluechipyrs.org.

Sounds like they deserve the coveted blue chicken shit chickenhawks award to me. Or maybe the yellow one.
